Type 4 automatic screwdriver heads are classified as any blow-fed drive head with a single-stage travel slide – opposite of the Type 1 drive heads. The jaw & bit strokes are not independent on Type 4 drive heads. Type 4 drive head slides are typically used for applications where a 2+ axis robot arm is being used to lower the screwdriver to the part, and independent jaw & bit strokes are not necessary.
