Why Carlson...
It’s a no brainer – our advanced line of handheld automatic screwdrivers & screwdriving systems sets the standard for handheld & robotic screw driving today. The depth of our robotic screwdriving & multi-spindle screwdriver system line is simply unmatched.
About the Carlson product family...
We offer over 40 different standard pneumatic & electric automated screwdriver heads from single spindle to multi-spindle. Our automatic screw feeding systems are simple with only a few moving parts.
The engineering team at Carlson designs all our vibratory screw feeder bowls, screw presenters, & step feeders to your fastener’s specifications & measurements, whether it’s a screw, bolt, nut, pin, rivet, or otherwise. We have found that adjustment leads to out of adjustment. We designed adjustment out of our products whenever possible.
Superior Training
We keep your maintenance department in mind.
Our automatic screwdrivers & screw feeders are low-maintenance and operator-friendly.
In most cases, no tools are required to change an automatic screwdriver machine’s bit or socket. We try to make all the regular maintenance as easy to do as possible. Our goal is to provide the most reliable and serviceable auto-feed screwdriver and screw feeder systems on the market today.

Our systems are integrated into 12+ manufacturing industries globally.
Automotive
When it comes to the automotive industry, Carlson has a great deal of experience in designing custom multi-spindle and single spindle screwfeeding stations as well as custom handheld screwfeeding systems for the installation of screws. This field offers interesting challenges as most systems are being designed while the OEM is still developing the production line.
Aerospace
Aerospace manufacturing technology has come a long way since its inception – we now have standardized components and mass-produced assemblies which depend on reliable, repeatable production processes.
Consumer Products
Over the years, Carlson Engineering has designed and developed both handheld and multi-spindle screwfeeding stations that are integral parts of the assembly lines that have created multiple simple and complex electronic parts and components.
Electrical Industry
Carlson Engineering has worked with some of the leaders in the lighting industry to develop handheld systems and multi/single-spindle stations that integrate into their production lines and accommodate some of the tight spaces that are prevalent in lighting products. Our automated screwdriving systems are used to place fasteners and retaining screws into switches and receptacles.
